*What is the ‘Exposure’ option?
Some photographers like to overexpose their film and this should be kept in mind while developing it.
Overexposing your film is also a way to compensate for film that is out of date. (Every 10 years out of date = 1 stop overexposure)
How does my roll get at BUBO Film Lab?
You can drop it off at the lab’s address: Jules Valckenaerestraat 19, 8600 Diksmuide.
You can send it to me in a good sturdy bubble envelope or package (don't forget to add a note with your name). Which mail delivery service you want to use is entirely up to you. The costs for this are also for yourself.
How do I get my photos?
If you choose to receive digital photos, you will find a Wetransfer link in your mailbox where you can download them in the chosen file format. (JPEG. or TIFF. - files)
JPEG. is the global standard picture format.
TIFF. is an advanced file format for people who like to edit their photos in dedicated software like Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop and similar programs
If you choose to receive your negatives there are two options:
You can come pick them up at the lab’s address: Jules Valckenaerestraat 19, 8600 Diksmuide.
You can get them sent over to your physical address by paying an additional fee of €5. This fee will be calculated in the price in the checkout menu. Bpost is my chosen delivery service. However, I am not liable for any loss of film/negatives in the post. I ONLY DELIVER IN BELGIUM!
Note that if you choose to not receive your negatives they will be recycled after processing.
Archiving your negatives
Negatives are kept for 2 months after processing. Negatives that are not picked up after 2 months will be recycled.
If you don't have time by any circumstances, please let me know within that 2 month and we'll look for a solution.
Contact me via this link.
What are the delivery times?
The delivery times depend entirely on the type of film that is submitted. In some cases I am also dependent on the delivery of the film in that specific month.
If you chose to receive digital files take into account about 2 week after the film has arrived at the lab. If you chose for receiving your negatives at your physical address take into account about 3 weeks after the film has arrives at the lab. Sometimes it can take a little longer than usual for your film to be developed due to extreme amount of orders or special film development requests.
What will be in the delivered or picked-up film negatives package?
Your negatives that have been cut and put in a protected sleeve.
